Clubhouse 10 Year House Party

Historic Exhibition + First Annual House Fundraiser

Saturday, May 23, 2026 • 6PM–Midnight

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating 10 years of historic preservation, community, music, art, and gathering inside one of Salt Lake City’s most beloved cultural spaces.

It won’t be a formal gala. It’ll be a real house party, music throughout the building, dancing, projections, historic photographs and videos, building tours, drinks, coffee, friends, neighbors, artists, and memories from the last decade inside these walls.

The Clubhouse 10 Year House Party is part celebration, part fundraiser, and part living love letter to “The House that the Women Built” in 1913. Built by the Ladies’ Literary Club more than a century ago, the Clubhouse continues to serve as a home for artists, musicians, writers, performers, organizers, and community connection in the heart of Salt Lake City.

All proceeds from the evening will support long-needed renovations and upgrades to the house and historic commercial kitchen, helping sustain the next generation of public programming, performances, workshops, and community gatherings.

If Clubhouse has ever meant something to you, or you’re new here, we’d love for you to join us.

This evening will celebrate 10 years of preserving and activating the historic Ladies’ Literary Club building as ClubhouseSLC, a community-centered cultural space for artists, nonprofits, educators, organizers, performers, and public gathering in Salt Lake City.

Over the last decade, the House has become a home to performances, fundraisers, workshops, community conversations, exhibitions, and creative experimentation across many sectors of the city. As independent cultural spaces continue to face increasing pressures, we believe spaces like this matter deeply to the future of civic and creative life in Utah.

At a time when independent, artist-led gathering spaces are disappearing, Clubhouse remains a rare and living cultural home, a place for poetry readings, open mics, darkroom classes, performances, celebrations, rehearsals, conversations, and creative experimentation. For many, it is more than a building. It is where friendships began, art was shared for the first time, community was built, and people felt connected to something larger than themselves.

This all-ages celebration will feature a historic exhibition, guided building tours, live music, speeches, dancing, performances, food and drinks of all kinds, and community gathering throughout the building and grounds. In true house party style, we’re opening the doors for casual connection, celebrating the space room by room, and inviting guests to explore the entire property while experiencing the history, creativity, and energy that make Clubhouse unique.

This year also marks the 100th birthday of the Clubhouse kitchen, added to the home in 1926. For a century, this kitchen has helped feed artists, audiences, gatherings, and community. To celebrate her centennial, we’re throwing her a party. All proceeds from the evening will support long-needed renovations and upgrades to the historic commercial kitchen, helping sustain the next generation of cultural programming, public events, and community gatherings at Clubhouse.

Come celebrate the past, present, and future of one of Salt Lake City’s historic cultural spaces, and help support the next 100 years of gathering, creativity, and community inside these walls.

Coffee at Clubhouse

Something new is brewing inside the House.

This summer, Clubhouse is partnering with our friends at Sound Brew to launch Off the Record, a new café and gathering space inside the historic Clubhouse on South Temple.

Part coffee shop, part creative living room, part neighborhood hangout, Off the Record is designed for lingering. Morning coffee meetings, work sessions, reading corners, artist conversations, pop-up events, music, late afternoon check-ins, and the kind of casual community space the East Central and South Temple neighborhoods deserve more of.

We’re especially excited to partner with the dream team at Sound Brew to bring thoughtful coffee, hospitality, and new energy into the building throughout the summer.

Open Saturday & Sunday, 8am - 3pm starting May 30. Join us for a special preview on May 23 at the 10 Year Anniversary House Party.
